- Sows (Belgian Landrace, Irish and German) in 4 different groups at 5 weeks and piglets weaning at 4 weeks of age - PRRS-free - The insemination room is the only area with no straw bedding - The gestation room includes a spacious and quiet resting area with accumulated straw bedding and 3 NEDAP® stations (Limko SA) . The configuration can be adapted to the experimental constraints - The maternity ward has 3 rooms with 9 boxes on a solid floor with straw bedding. Feed distribution is done individually by computer-controlled automats (Gestal FM®, Jyga Technologies - Canada). - The fattening facility includes 3 rooms for a total of 40 boxes with 8 spaces that have a solid floor, straw bedding, scraper and cameras.
