Field Experiments

INNSOLPIG is a trialcenter for pigs and piglets. Our facility is built for feed and water testing (acids). It is primarily a field trial facility for large numbers. The crossbreed is Danbred sow x German bear. Nursery facility / 1280 piglets - 1 silo per diet (128 piglets) and this 10 times - 1 water meter per diet (128 piglets) and this 10 times - feed conversion per pen (16 piglets per pen) - water consumption per diet / day - weighings per pen (16 piglets) - All results in excel after each weighing - 1 room of 32 pens (16 piglets per pen) and 1 room of 48 pens (16 piglets per pen) Finisher pigs/ 1792 finisher pigs (14 x 8 pens (16 pigs per pen)) - 1 silo per diet (128 pigs) and this 14 times - feed conversion per pen (16 pigs) - water consumption per diet/day (128 pigs) - weighings per pen (16 pigs) - possibility to start in the nursery and continue with the same piglets from pen to pen to the fattening - all results in excel after each weighing - 7 compartments with 2 silos each - 1 compartment contains 2 times 128 finisher pigs Possibility for statistics with Ghent University (both piglets and finisher pigs) for more info 0473/911488
