Additional information
- Our brand new pig house contains 2 weaning piglet compartments equipped with 24 slatted floor pens of 4.6m², with individual feeders and drinkers per pen. Drinkers are connected to 2 seperate drinking lines to enable testing drinkwater supplements. The units are equipped with sensors for temperature, CO2, NH3 and airpressure to steer the fully automated climate control. Climate control is fossil free and independent from outside temperature. Biological airwasher reduces the emmision. Each unit is BSL-II approved. One of the weaning piglet units will be reconstructed to house pigs until slaughter age in the near future.
