- Experimental Feed Mill with the ability to produce experimental pig feeds Experimental house with 20 pens (three piglets each) to conduct productivity trials with post weaning piglets Experimental house with 24 metabolic cages for post weaning piglets to conduct nutritional trials Nutrition lab We conduct collaborative research with public and private institutions on nutrition, feeding and nutritional physiology and we are specialized in the post-weaning piglet. We have a licensed animal experimentation facility where we can slaughter animals (only piglets) in a manner similar to commercial slaughterhouse conditions (stunning, bleeding, etc.). This is where we obtain samples for carcass and meat quality studies.
